Yesterday morning I spotted my neighbours sunflower peeking over the back fence.  It was in the shade. However always on the look our for subjects took a picture.   By lunchtime the flower was in sunlight and what a difference that made. This evening I'm giving a talk to Winton Ladies Group on improving their photography.  Part of the talk is about light and shadows - I think this may have made a great example, but the talk and props are all ready for this talk.  I'll save the sunflower as a future example.  I'm amazed at just how much the light and shadows adds dimension to the photo.
