In COVID lockdown, when the flowers weren't plentiful, I discovered Fungi and I have continued to go "Fungi Hunting" ever since.
I enjoy my micro photography and after taking the pictures spend time researching and trying to identify the fungi. With thousands of species this can prove difficult and you may spot some that you identify differently to me.
Here's some of my best photos of the more attractive or photogenic species. I have many more in my files not so attractive.
