I often visit the South Lakes and in summer usually participate in Prom Art at Grange over Sands - a unique victorian resort on Morecambe Bay. There are several historic houses worth a look in the area including - Holker Hall, Levens Hall and Sizergh Castle. Then follow the coast to Ulverston, Bardsea and beyond. Here's some of my best photos taken in this lovely area.
